What if the best way to learn something
was to learn 10 things at once? This is Cross-Iterative Learning — a mindset that mirrors how real life works. I built the framework. And I live it.

Servant!reader with geta where he brings her to a gladiator fight or he gets her to suck his finger or something đŸ˜¶â€đŸŒ«ïžđŸ€
I liked this so much that I tried to satisfy both parts of your request.
[ find an earlier iteration of your servant!reader here ]
[ Geta Masterlist ]
(also don't mind me, this gif is magical, as is this whole scene for him. it's not my fault he keeps leaving his neck out. one day I'm gonna write about it.)
Tumblr media
“Are the gladiators not enough entertainment for you, brother? Must you bring your plaything?” Caracalla complained, grey-blue eyes studying every inch of you.
It was unnerving.
Geta rolled his eyes, turning away from his brother’s taunt to look to you, partially to check in with you, but more so to block you from Caracalla’s view.
Your position was not lost on you. Your access to Geta was
quite unique. After a few weeks, it almost felt
 normal.
As much as fucking an emperor could feel normal.
There was much to learn about Geta. That in private, he could be playful, even sweet if he wished it. He craved touch. He liked it when you used his title. You hadn’t dared to call him “Geta” yet. Not until he asked it of you. Not that he ever would.
That would imply a familiarity that would cross too many boundaries.
Too much, too close.
Foolish thoughts.
“Do you like the games?” His voice was low and quiet, just for you. A small bubble of conversation, only large enough for you two. These small moments where he genuinely wanted to hear you speak, and didn’t want to share the sound of your voice with anyone else.
That’s what it seemed like, anyway.
“I’ve never been, Emperor.”
Surprise. Satisfaction. Words just on the verge of being arrogant.
“It’s the greatest entertainment Rome has to offer. Nowhere else can you see strength like this,” he gestured to the arena, currently empty.
It was far too easy to delude yourself into thinking he was truly interested in you and your thoughts, your opinions. The reality was surely something in between. He might think he wants to hear them, but it didnïżœïżœt mean he’d ever listen to them.
“I am sure it is wonderful, Emperor.”
Placating, always placating.
The cheering of the crowd pulled his attention away and the bubble burst, though his hand remained on your thigh, pulling your legs across his lap as he made you share the throne.
Blasphemous.
Could you be blamed for your delusions, when this is how you were treated?
“Look, there,” Geta gestured, pointing to the gate opening on the far side of the arena.
And you did look, pressed up against his side, you took in the spectacle, wonder and interest waning as soon as blood was drawn.
The sounds should not have been so clear. They were so far below, away, and yet the wounded cries echoed in the oval, reaching your ears as if the man were right at your feet.
Salt, iron, the stench of death.
With each slash and stab, Geta’s grip grew tighter. He cheered and jeered, winced and gasped, fully engaged in the violence below.
His brother was quite similar, though he was more energetic, a mad look in his eyes at times. All bluster and leaning against the back of the throne as if in agony whenever his chosen fighter fell.
Another of their servants stepped into view, obscuring Caracalla from view. They held a small plate. It contained some bits of fruit, nuts, honey.
Geta refused to acknowledge it, his eyes focused on the bloodshed before him. With a small smile, you reached out to accept the plate, holding it before you much like they had, waiting for Geta to notice.
“Hungry, little lamb?” Geta finally questioned, noticing the plate for the first time.
You opened your mouth to speak, but he wasn’t listening, he wasn’t even looking, eyes falling to the plate’s contents, ringed fingers hovering over them as he decided what to choose.
A juicy slice of plum, flesh glistening, drizzled in golden honey.
His eyes met yours, danger in them.
“Open.”
The command shot down your spine, your face warming. Squeezing your thighs shut, you opened your mouth, eyes on his as his own fell to your parted lips. He was entranced as he slipped the sliver of fruit between them, the pads of his fingers brushing over your lips.
He watched you intently as the sweet and tart flavor burst across your tongue, forcing you to give him a small sound of satisfaction at the taste. His lips slid into a wolfish grin.
“That’s a good little lamb,” he spoke, his voice oozing with glee.
He picked up a smaller piece and dropped it into his own mouth, still keeping his eyes on you.
“Another?” he asked, the piece of fruit already between his fingers.
You couldn’t refuse, because he wasn’t truly asking. You nodded.
He was clumsier, as if on purpose. The pads of his fingers touched your tongue as he slowly released the fruit, his eyes falling to a bit of honey running down your chin. He dragged his finger up, collecting the sweet nectar. He held his finger in front of your lips as you chewed, waiting for you to swallow.
His eyes moved down to your throat as you did, before they rose to meet yours.
“Clean,” he stressed, his big eyes bright with amusement.
Another order. You couldn’t refuse.
His lips parted as yours did, as if he were in a trance, your perfect mirror. His tongue pushed at the inside of his mouth as you accepted his finger into yours.
The honey was cool, a bit thicker than usual. Your tongue worked that much harder at it, applying pressure to get the sticky sweetness out of the whirl of his fingertip. Once loosened, you sucked, swallowing the sweetness.
A delighted chuckle burst out of his chest as he bit his lip, attention fully on you, the bloodshed occurring below completely out of mind. His grin was otherworldly as you released his finger from your lips.
“Little lamb,” he muttered, “you are
”
He didn’t finish his thought, just stared at you, as if coming to some realization. What it meant for you, you couldn’t know.

things I love about veilguard
Rook might just be my favorite dragon age player character. I love what a good friend they are. I love being this character, in all their iterations.
emmrich and manfred volkarin, just literally everything about them both
I can be nonbinary??? in favorite game series??? plus many other trans & queer characters along a realistic spectrum of ideologies and identities??? FUCK YEAH
factions brought back the feel of selecting an origin a little for me. I wish there had been more content related to each *but* I do really like what there is. I do feel this was done better here than in Inquisition.
Speaking of: my real gripe about Inquisition was just a lack of anything feeling unsettling or spooky or urgent in any way. For me, I learned that the horror elements of previous games were essential for it to really feel urgent, necessary, heroic, and like a Dragon Age game *to me*. imo, Veilguard brought spooky back, with everything from blighted D'Meta's Crossing to Zara Renata's bath to Isseya's haunted twisted grief and the griffon tomb etc etc etc - I really feel like this game didn't hide the creepy parts in the codex this time, and while nothing will ever quite make my skin crawl like Hespith's poetry in the dark blighted deep roads, this brings back an element I was surprised to find I really missed. And the 2.5-3 Big Bads (depending on how you view Solas ymmv) of this game are far more interesting and intense than Corypheus ever was.
I like finally getting to see parts of other countries we've only previously heard about, and I *love* that those areas are realistically somewhat different than the rumor and speculation about them in previous games and that each has grown in unique ways since their first codex snippets.
I like to see that most interactive NPCs are being less openly racist / otherwise bigoted in a Dragon Age game, and I don't really get the people who complain about *not* being called knife-ear or whatever every other minute. I feel that budding cultural shift has been building in game for a long time, we're in new areas, many of which do things differently, and it's well explained by the efforts of groups like the Shadow Dragons and Lucerni and all of our Wardens and Hawkes and Inquisitors and several of the companions shaping change in the world for in-game decades. It can be realistic for things to improve. I love how openly hopeful this game is, when made in such dark irl times. It inspires me to more action in reality.
I love that Bellara and Taash are both clearly neurodivergent in wildly different ways. I love that characters who read very clearly as autistic/ADHD/AuDHD are continuing to be included in spite of all the vitriol there was about Sera.
Lucanis being demi (and imo as a demisexual person myself, quite accurately portrayed as such) is lovely and his romance scenes are delightful whether with Rook or Neve.
I love the other relationships that begin when companions aren't romance by Rook (Taash/Harding, Neve/Lucanis, and Emmrich/Strife are all really cute and have great cutscenes and banter.
The faction based specializations are cool as fuck imo
This game gives me more of the found family vibe of earlier games, I missed that.
Davrin & Emmrich arguing about different Being A Dad Strategies
I've put in 275 hours and I'm still finding new content with each playthrough???
Vorgoth.
I'll probably add more but. yeah. good game.

cw: teacher!prohero!izuku and prohero!reader with a healing quirk. accidental injury of a student. mostly just banter.
Izuku can sense your annoyance from the door but walks in anyway to the UA nurse’s office, thirty minutes after the close of classes for the day, as is your arrangement any time you work part-time at the school. (He’d argue that it’s an unnecessary precaution because he talks about you enough that his kids are well aware and quite partial to your relationship, but you can’t help the embarrassment when you’re spotted by his unofficial student fanclub.)
You’re still typing up today’s documentation from the kids you saw today - more than usual given the nature of today’s training exercise - and when he approaches, closing the door before carefully offering you a kiss on the cheek from behind, you turn to him with narrowed eyes and he knows he’s in for it.
“Sit.”
He sighs, dropping himself onto the nearest made bed and folds his hands in his lap. You type the last of your notes and save them, then swivel around in your chair. Once your eyes meet, he’s pouting, and part of you immediately wants to pull back, but stubborn as you are, you persist with your less than satisfied glare, crossing your arms over your chest.
“Hey, there was no way for me to know that kid would pull such a desperate move!” Izuku immediately defends himself animatedly. “We gave them clear instructions to either flee or fight, and they should know better not to fight a pro, and I truly did not mean to hold on that tight, plus it’s not like I don’t feel bad, I felt terrible! But the villains will not feel terrible for one second so it’s not like it’s a bad lesson to learn-”
Your hand goes up to motion dramatically for him to save it and Izuku stops immediately, then sighs again, before letting his body hang back and rest on the bed. You don’t nag that often, but when you do, it’s incessant and worse because you’re often right the whole way through.
The move in question had happened during the classic 2 student vs 1 teacher fight, an event you remember clearly yourself from your days at UA and weren’t particularly a fan of. The kids, understandably, were excited to go up against their teachers and this iteration would include Pro Heroes from the golden class of yore, 1A, as substitute teachers and thus was quite the event. Naturally, this was a good day for you to substitute as a school nurse as well.
One of the students had tried to make a sudden dash for it on the left side while trying to escape Izuku’s grip on their arm, and Izuku, slightly distracted while prompting the other terrified student to think carefully about their next move, had not budged or known to let go, which led to a prompt shoulder dislocation.
In the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t terrible. Izuku let go immediately at the kid’s shriek, the other proctors had rushed in to bring the kid to you, but you weren’t enthused by the situation, not one bit.
“You know, I expected this sort of nonsense from Bakugou, but you?”
Izuku nods, then becomes pensive as he rubs his chin with his hands. “To be honest, I’m quite impressed with the fact that not one of his opponents got singed more than a hair, but I also think his kids employed a far better strategy than mine, considering that they seemed to suggest they were going to fight upfront and then immediately feinted into an escape that fooled him - that being said I think part of that might have been Kacchan’s assumption that the kids would try to fight him to prove themselves and that worked to their advantage, but notwithstanding the fact that he was quite careful with them and chose a far less physical approach, although-”
You’re up on your feet, pulling on both of his cheeks before he can keep talking.
“The point here is not to be praising ‘Kacchan’, it’s that you HAVE to be more careful with these kids! What if they’d lost that arm?!”
He pouts again, and the second time works and you unwittingly soften.
As much as you’re conservative about injury, this is a Hero school, the same place where Izuku practically lost the use of his own arms out of his own recklessness time and time again while on campus. Sitting down on the edge of the bed beside him finally, you let out a sigh that’s only partially defeated.
He won’t call you too sensitive, but the truth is you are.
“I’ll be more careful next time,” he promises you. “It’s still a learning environment and the kids should be safe no matter what.” With that, he reaches for your hand, then presses the back to his lips which brings a smile to your face.
You exhale.
“Do you remember when you and Katsuki fought All Might?”
Izuku blinks for a moment as recollection bubbles into his subconscious.
“Oh, yes.”
“That day I was so upset but I don’t think anyone could tell,” you say to him. You’re both laid back now, staring at the ceiling and as your hands remain interlaced, you’re transported back to high school.
He chuckles.
“Why? Because I was getting my butt kicked?”
You laugh under your breath.
“All I could think of was ‘why is a practical god fighting us, we’re just kids?’”
Izuku laughs harder this time, then turns to face you. Cupping a hand on your face, he leans in and whispers,
“Do you think we’re the gods now?”
There’s a hint of amusement, but also the faintest whiff of melancholy, easily missed if not for the fact that you’ve watched him so carefully all these years.
You can hear the effect of slow near complete recovery of a Quirk, several Quirks, that were once much too much to bear, the far too heavy weight once on his shoulders, relieved now by the help of friends and loved ones, emotional scars that have healed over but run deeper than the ones your fingertips slowly glide over whenever you hold him close.
“I like being human, personally,” you whisper back. There’s a wistfulness in his green eyes as he takes your statement to heart.
“Me too.”
He kisses your forehead, then the two of you quickly remember where you are, then rise to your feet.
“Let’s go now?” he asks, swinging your work bag over his shoulder and reaching his hand out for yours.
You take it gingerly and he raises an eyebrow.
“Gotta make sure I don’t make any sudden moves, you know,” you tease, and he scrunches his eyebrows at you.
“Mean.”
You stick your tongue out at him, and he laughs as you leave the campus grounds to make it home together.

"Hunter is my mentor. When I was found, hungry and scared, he brought me to his iterator's superstructure, and it became my new home. To my surprise, two other slugpups inhabited the premises already. Both of them got also, well, adopted by him. These scugs were just a little older than me, so I finally had friends to play with (and not feel so incredibly alone anymore)."
"In the following cycles, Hunter would venture out on «expeditions»... and would almost always come back with a new little friend. Our group grew over time, and we founded our own small colony. A bunch of kids and one adult is a valid colony, right? It felt right to be amongst my own kind, even if it was hard in the beginning. I did not know how to properly socialize, considering my troubled past. I had to learn a lot of things on the go."
"Before all that, during my time with the scavenger toll tribe, I would occasionally see other slugcats, too. But those scugs either gave us a wide berth, or the tribe would hide me away whenever someone crossed the toll. I think I was too much of a valuable asset to them, they didn't want me to get killed or kidnapped... but that also meant constant supervision, and little to no contact with the outside world. Of course, all that ended... when..."
[Marbles is visibly uncomfortable, but continues her story anyway]
"... uh, well... when they all died. Something got to them. At that time, I thought it was a big lizard, or even a vulture, but the claw marks were small... and, a predator would kill to eat, right? They would be eaten, and yet, they were all left there. Some with burned body parts, and wounds from explosives. The only logical explanaiton I can think of, is that another tribe wiped them out. But why would they do that? There were no warning signs, no previous skirmishes. I ran away as fast as I could - I was so sure I'd perish too if I lingered there for too long. That was the moment I escaped death for the second time..."
Tumblr media
"Um, it's... fine? There weren't as many scavengers near NHS' structure anyway, and they stayed out our way. But here, all around Five Pebbles, there's so many of them... and so many pearls, too. It's a gold mine. I can't wait to see what I find or trade for here. I did notice though, the scavengers living in this area are more nervous and jumpy. They seem not to like strangers, be it scug, scav, or any other creature. I have to be more careful around them, sign slowly and clearly that I mean no harm."
[Her ear flicks and she turns her head around, staring into the distance for a moment, before turning it back]
"Another curious thing I've noticed, are those big scavengers roaming around in groups of three or four. They wield sparkling spears and don painted vulture masks. A scary sight to behold... makes me wonder if those are warriors from the aforementioned Metropolis? I want to go there, but I'm a little scared now..."

Yandere Sukuna Hcs:
Warnings: Oh this whole post is a warning in itself LOL, Sukuna and also yandere- lots of NSFW, nonc0n, g0re, belittling. Read at your own discretion. I REPEAT, read at your own discretion this post isn't for everyone I went overboard.
King of curses and absolutely devoid of any sympathy at all, all he has is obsession towards you, catering and harboring to his every need. Once Sukuna manifests in his true form, he is unstoppable. You were among the few humans he wanted to fuck around with and then eat them, however- he took a special liking to you. It's just because out of all of them, you looked the prettiest when you were scared out of your wits. He calls you his slut, toy, plaything, weakling, meat. It's simple really, you don't get to wear any clothes around, you want to see what happens to people who disobey him? Of course not- as humiliating as it is, someone like Sukuna does not care and would want you to answer his every beck and call with that naked body.
You are not allowed to have a life/a purpose except to be the King of Curses' little toy. There are days he wants you to kneel in front of him, struggling as he warms your mouth, and iterates his stories from thousands of years back. Sukuna likes to talk after all. Looking down at you with a smirk when you nastily drool from down there. You won't get to cum, no use thinking about it.
Any/everyone who wanted to search for you was killed in front of you, you had no family, so the Sorcerer friends who wanted to find you were killed. Sukuna hung their heads for you to see every time you walk towards the entrance of the door. Just in case his beloved/slightly liked toy wants to escape.
Over a period of time Sukuna stops eating humans in front of you, something which annoyed him to the brim that he wanted you to not be repulsed and scream cry when he devours them alive. He can be sympathetic but would never express it. Weakness as such aren't allowed.
Walking around always naked would get some rude/crass comments from him, he doesn't want you to go to a salon to get waxed of course, but he would call you filthy for not being clean down there, pinching your clit and scratching it with his nail while you squirm and mumble apologies.
Sukuna is huge, and is manhandly, the way his two hands spread you apart in thin air, like a cross and fuck you, inflating you when his seed fills you until you scream, leaking out and inflated. Sukuna doesn't like it going to waste so you better believe he will turn you upside down, hanging for hours just to check the possibility of you somehow being bred.
Sukuna can be kind enough to let you eat whatever you want, on cases where you starve yourself, he will threaten you to feed human meat. You can't possibly test him because he just might. He also has this sick, devotion that his breedable fleshlight should be healthy. No restrictions on the quality of food.
Consent? Lol, you should be grateful he's letting you live. Though over a period of time he loves it when you turn extra possessive over him fucking other women. When he needs to show you his place, he would fuck them in front of you and then kill them, asking you if you liked how they orgasmed over and over until they threw up?
Sukuna can and will use collars on you, loves calling you his pet and would make sure you behave like one. Tamed and cute. The tongue on his belly would fuck you senseless on days when he wants to see you pleasured, other one playing with your tits until you sob and cry, unable to take it anymore.
Spankings are his thing, however, he caused you some visceral damage once he did it and he still has problems with how fragile you are despite being a sorcerer, so his preys - get the order to spank his little slut. "If you do a good job, your death would be painless." Oh boy they do. Ever since then, Sukuna can't tolerate you without a bruised ass. He also learned the exact strength on which to deliver spankings so you 'always' leave a little hiss when you sit down. Loves that, and calls you "Marked up so you know your purpose."
Sukuna who can sometimes be groggy and scoff when you come waddling to him, screaming about the horror of the nightmares of his actions. Ironical, how you have no option but to run to him for comfort and would let you sleep with him. Condition is: You will have to repay his kindness. Sometimes he pretends he forgot it just to go easy on you, sometimes he uses it to his undue advantage.
Sukuna has been mean enough to have fingers of a severed hand tucked into your pussy because you clearly love to call him ruthless. The feeling of something dead pleasuring you while you cry and beg for mercy is all he needs.
Holy fuck I have so many more but I think I have brutalized him enough (He is brutal after all)

Reversed Karma AU
Tumblr media
A Rainworld Alternate Universe.
...
The.. triple affirmative has been found- the affirmative that a ..solution has been found, the affirmative that the..solution is portable, and the affirmative that technical implementation is possible and generally applicable.
I remember that cycle... ancients swarmed the stuff, only privilege given to the founder, Sliver of Straw, was leaving us first.
And then cycle by cycle, our parents left..
Spoilered for absurd about of text, and general spoilers.
Saint never wanted to ascend anything. And by the time every last ancient was dead and gone, cycles passed, and structures fell. The green fuzzy thing was not once fuzzy, growing a coat as the rain sent by iterators stopped.
- - So it trailed along, guilty for what was not its fault, bringing iterators to life again. With a new name, [Pilgrim].
-- Footnote : Karma needs are reversed with the Pilgrim. Dying will up their karma, surviving will lower it. Secret passages will be added to cross gates you cannot with low karma, as it is needed to progress. =======================================
Rivulet is an odd case. I wanted them to obviously give rarefaction cells, as they did to Moon originally. So the tale goes they were created by a rebellious, younger Ancient who was fond of life and the cycle. One who refused the common ideals.
-- The swift little mouse they created, was given their own ability to create low-density rarefaction cells (singularity bombs) and refine them into more high-quality cells which the Ancient learned themself.
-- As soon as the news was spread to the general public of the triple affirmative, they sent the [Technician] out into the world, wearing several pearls describing their mission. ===========
Monk and Survivor lived with their colony, and were sent to scout a new home for the colony by the [Mapmaker]. They are named [Guard] and [Scout] in Reversed Karma. They brought Scout's two slugpups with them, even if the journey was dangerous, finding a new home for Scout pups was important to both Scout and their Sibling.
-- They find the tree in journey's end, Guard staying with the pups there as Scout tells the rest of the colony, including the leader, Mapmaker.
-- Footnote: Monk still brings Moon her cloak and several pearls. =========================================
The [Mapmaker] replaces Gourmand in Reversed Karma, making a map for their colony to follow. They are the leader of their colony.
-- Very similar to vanilla, leaving current living to the tree, showing the colony to the new home.
-- Footnote : Rain is beginning to return to normal, without cold mechanic. =====================================
The [Traveler] replaces Hunter in Reversed Karma, created by Five Pebbles to check on the local group. They spawn in the grounds of Unparralled Innocence. They do not have the Rot due to Five Pebbles more careful creation of a purposed organism compared to No Significant Harrassment.
-- Footnote : Cold mechanics are in work in these areas, as UI and CW were revived later than LTTM and FP.
-- Footnote : You may optionally visit Chasing Wind. ==========
The [Mother] replaces Artificer in Reversed Karma. Their slugpups are both alive, with the same explosive quality. They give Pebbles back his cloak and become a citizen after Sofanthiel locks onto them.
-- Footnote : Mother has bad reputation with scavengers due to passing tolls without payment before the campaign. They get a backspear due to one less hand slot having two pups.
-- Footnote : Rain has returned to normal.
-- Footnote : Mother has reduced food needs compared to vanilla Artificer due to needing to feed their pups. ===============
The [Messenger] replaces Spearmaster in Reversed Karma. They were created by Seven Red Suns to send messages between them and their friends, similar to [Traveler]'s check-ins with other iterators.
-- Footnote : Messenger has a mouth, and cannot duel wield spears.
================================================
A note from the OP: I hope you like them.. I've been wanting to show them off for a while. One of my headcannons for iterators was that the natural urges are coded into them with anti-ascension stuff. Like. Make ascension for us, but not for you. This is why they were wildly unsuccessful in finding the triple affirmative. Also.. Tumblr nuked quality of my image :c If u read all this and liked it perhaps a rb?? also hehe funny number thank u all

slugcat ocs
they’re all pretty rough concepts, but i love them nonetheless
Tumblr media
The Scholar!!
Monk and Survivors third sibling from the intro cutscene! Just a generally curious little guy, wanting to learn anything and everything about the world. They’re constantly gathering pearls and bringing them to the closest iterator, which of course, eventually makes them cross paths with the Scavengers. While learning scav behaviour and culture, they trade one of their pearls for a vulture mask. One cycle, while wearing the mask, they get mistaken for a vulture chick by a particularly affectionate vulture. The vulture realises her mistake very quickly of course, but by the time they do, it’s already too late and they’ve gotten attached.
Tumblr media
The Deserted!!
Your average “what if one of Arti’s pups survived?” AU. I’ve already seen a thousand really creative variations of this and wanted to do my own take, BUT I’M STILL SUPER EARLY IN THE PROCESS, so there’s nothing to make mine unique yet. The basis is, on that cycle, the Deserted gets left behind by Artificer, in her frenzy and gets taken in by the Scavengers. Maybe out of pity, or maybe out of malice towards the mother. The Deserted cannot explosion jump, but she can spit out smoke and create a loud boom with her tail, both to disorient predators.
Tumblr media
The Surge!!
The Surge is a concept that is much less focused on the slugcat itself than the other two. But to sum her up, she’s a fully aquatic slugcat, frail and weak, but swift and agile in water. She can’t stay out of water for long, which would make traversing most regions difficult, but her hydration would get rejuvenated by eating water-rich foods, such as Bubble Fruit, turning a lot of her campaign into a resource management game. There is also a lot more lore to her, but I don’t want to reveal too much about her or her campaign right now, because there’s some parts I don’t quite like yet and I think it needs a lot more polish before it’s ready for presentation.
BUT THAT’S MY SCUGGERS!! hope you guys enjoy them <3

Game Slugcats
Tumblr media
Our beloved game slugcats are now part of Repurposed!
Here is their role within Repurposed:
Monk, Survivor, and Gourmand now live within the same tribe with Gourmand acting as the big brother figure for the other two. Gourmand became one of the leaders of his tribe while teaching both Survivor and Monk on how to become an adult slugcat within their tribe. Monk and Survivor passed each day with learning and training to become dependable members of their tribe, with their own quirkiness and fun sprinkled throughout the day. They once helped Zen navigate the Outer Expanse towards Upright Carnage's facility ground before separating with him to migrate with their tribe to another place.
Nightcat is a lone wanderer who wanders across the realm on her own. She observed Zen from a distance during his expedition outside Chasing Wind's facility ground before vanishing into the night.
Enot is a joke. Zen has mixed feelings about them.
Hunter and Spearmaster act as double trouble for those who dare to cross their path. Now empowered as Repurposed organisms -Spearmaster's capable of shooting spears straight from their holes and Hunter was cured from their rot infection- created by their Iterators, they became an effective duo that can complete any mission given to them at any time. They encountered Zen multiple times during the series and had his back whenever he needed them.
Artificer barely changed from the game itself, though now she continued her genocide in Outer Expanse following the downfall of Five Pebbles' superstructure due to the rot and the scavenger tribes migrating away from it. She had a fight or two with Zen before they settled down and cleared the situation.
Rivulet was a purpose organism created by both Sliver of Straw and Looks to the Moon to explore the mysterious nature of the void sea. Rivulet was created with a high-regenerative capability and a thick mucus-producing organ covering their body to withstand the high acidity of the void sea. However, during their journey down the void sea, they were struck down by the Void Worm and lost connection to the world above. They lost consciousness for what seemed like an eternity until they woke up and started swimming back up to the surface world. Thanks to their mucus and high-regenerative quirk, Rivulet was able to escape the void sea without any permanent damage to their body. After their escape, time has passed, Sliver has fallen down, and things have changed. Now they need to find Moon, their other creator.
Saint was created by Sliver of Straw and No Significant Harassment as part of the Triple Affirmative Project. However, he managed to ascend Sliver and NSH erased his memory of the project. Meaning, that nobody knows of Saint's existence. However, one thing was left inside of Saint. His purpose. He is The Triple Affirmative. The solution to the great problem. And he will fulfill his purpose. No matter the cost. He and Zen will have their moment. They will determine the fate of this realm.

I debated posting this, but did anyone else notice he was wearing a cross?
I found it interesting that Barbatos can wear one as Demons are traditionally harmed by crosses and other religious and ritually purified materials.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Edit 1: Advanced Note: I am far estranged from a racist family. Among them were members of an outlaw biker gang whose members openly wore white supremacist and other racialized hate symbols. I condemn them and all that they stand for. I DO NOT approve of any of their rhetoric or hold interest in spreading any form of racism. I'm anti-racist and dedicated to achieving open communication, peace and equality between all races and sexes.
Other information about this cross's origin reaches much farther into the past and was used among a variety of religions such as Zoroastrianism and Jainism to name a few.
Edit 2: I changed my mind because the first text edit defeated the purpose of mentioning it. I wanted to define the differences between this artist's usage, and go into some brief historical relevance and designs. I did become more interested in learning more so I did some more research and expanded on the first iteration of the post.
Derived from the Templar Cross Pateé it's also used during the Crusades by the Order of Teutonic Knights, and the Schwarzes Kreuz and Eisernes Kreuz historically by the Prussian and German Military. It has deep cultural relevance in military honors and ranking. Its importance was further highlighted by the design being used for a medal awarded to War Heroes during the Napoleonic war by King of Prussia Frederick William III. His wife was the first to receive this medal, posthumously unfortunately :( It was also rewarded during the Franco-Prussian War, World War I and II.
Although he is wearing an iron cross it's as a fashion statement and has no traits in common with hate symbol apart from the form. It's unlikely that the artist intended it for anything more than stylishness.
In universe, since the Devildom is entirely separate from the Human World, I doubt there would be a shared history or political significance associated with it. Among the differences is that his is solid black whereas the cross used by the Reichswehr flags has a complete white outline, and medals bear the appropriated Swastika in the center.

I illustrated 100 ASoIaF Characters
" A Song of Ice and Fire" is a series that has become rather (in)famous for its depictions of violence, and abundance of s3x scenes .and while criticism can definitely be made for these, it's important that we dont end up overlooking the important life lessons, nor end up with wrong takeaways from the story.
you see, at its very heart , i believe ASOIAF is a story of the human experience, as well as a commentary about the twisted ways of this world ( set within a fantasy backdrop). being caught in the middle of loyalties, ambition, Reputation, vengeance, culture, faith, and familial acceptance . its themes like this along with complex and relatable characters that youll pity and root for in one scene, only for you to be appalled by and flinch at in the next scene, is what i find so appealing in this series.
Spectacle, Political Intrigue and Character Drama (all present in the story too btw) aside , its a story that really makes you think ,reflect , and learn upon. and i love it for that!
so today , i just wanna show my appreciation to arguably the best aspect of this series: The Characters . for over a year now, i have made fanart for 100 characters from the series. some are major pov characters. some iterally appear for only 1 chapter. but all help bring so much depth and color to this story!
special thanks to:
@nobodysuspectsthebutterfly . your blog has been such a HUGE in help giving me inspiration and references for design and clothing . i also appreciate you reblogging art from fellow asoiaf artist to help give them a boost
@amuelia , i really love your design for Areo, and it was actually the basis for art for him! its only fitting that i give you credit
@whoknowsnugget . i was having a haaaard time coming up a pose for Asha when i first designed her, it wasnt until i saw your own fanart for her ( the one with her arms crossed while holding axes) that i finally found a fitting pose for her. because it was such a huge help, i figured i should give you credit as well!
@buildoblivionthenwewilltalk for being with the journey since last year!
and @squidprinceofwinterfell too, who is my other fellow asoiaf pal from tumblr!
..............................................................................................................................
i really hope yall like this one! i know this may really come off as unexpected, but ive actually liked asoiaf since 2018! ( with a massive revival of interest starting late 2022). as for THAT show, i have yet to watch an actual full episode yet hehe.
as for my account, let this be considered my proper comeback after months of inactivity. this project of mine played a large chunk for my absence, because i frequently get artblock coming up with a new post for every new character i make.

How would Prism react to finding out Phoenix can come back from the dead?
Tumblr media
“and all this time, i thought i had the advantage of continual experimentation and the power of multiple iterations, but it was you! i really did never stand a chance!” Prism crossed her arms. “you’re lucky i’ve only found out now, when i can be happy i was never able to kill you. i’d almost call it cheating, to be able to come back from the dead.”
“okay, but to be fair, your robots only managed to kill me like, twice,” Phoenix said. “i didn’t just brute force my way through. most of the time.”
”i do have to wonder what caused this phenomenon, though. if it’s something that can be replicated, it would revolutionize, well
everything! you really have no idea?”
Phoenix shook their head.
“on second thought, that might be good. if Zor ever learned how to do it, it would be disastrous. i’ll look into this.” Prism paused, then smiled. “it’s incredible. you really are a phoenix.”

Shouldn't Overwatch also have the same problem then in regards to visual clarity? I'm sure if you were to give people Juno and Brigitte people would struggle telling what their role is probably confusing Brigitte as a Tank given she has a shield just like Reinhardt. Only Baptiste has said cross on his outfit which if he didn't people might confuse him from DPS since he carries a healing grenade launcher. Yet the only character design problem ive seen people talk about is Venture.
While this is true, it's a very different situation. Overwatch is an old game, it's been running for eight years now. When Overwatch launched, there wasn't anywhere near the kind of well-established competition that there is today. When Overwatch launched, there was no Apex Legends, Paladins, Deadlock, Quake Champions, or Valorant. Further, Overwatch's launch cast was designed with incredible visual clarity - nearly every character had a silhouette and visual design that both made them distinct and conveyed their style of gameplay. There's a pair of business terms for this kind of thing - Blue Ocean vs Red Ocean.
Tumblr media
A Blue Ocean is mostly unexplored and pristine - you're entering a market that's mostly untouched and there isn't much competition. This favors the first-mover advantage - the first ones there have more time to experiment, set things up, and learn from their mistakes. The customers/players in that market don't have anywhere else to go if they want their gameplay, so you can afford to make mistakes, iterate, and improve. Since there aren't many other games to switch to, the players will likely stick with what they are already familiar with.
Tumblr media
A Red Ocean is a saturated market, where the waters have been dyed red with the blood of all of the dead or dying competition. There's already a lot of competition, meaning that any new product must stand out significantly from its peers or it will soon die from lack of audience. In a Red Ocean, the initial launch is much more important because you never get a second chance at that first impression. Further, audience retention is also super important because of how much competition there is - a new product might be able to draw some attention just from the novelty, but novelty wears off quick and most of the players already know the genre and the other games available. If the new game doesn't serve their needs immediately, the players won't give it the time to improve - they'll just go to one of the competitors that already does serve their needs.
Tumblr media
We can't really compare the two games in a vacuum, we must compare the full environment that the games launched in. Overwatch had the added benefit of significantly less competition in its Blue Ocean, meaning that the playerbase really didn't have anywhere else to go while they waited for Overwatch to improve things. Concord was unable to grab attention immediately in a Red Ocean, meaning any potential audience quickly dispersed themselves among the large number of competitors already out there.

The Mark of the Blind Eye
Here is my second post about the Society of the Blind Eye in order to make sure that we are all on the same page with where my ideas and thoughts about it come from. A third one will be coming! (This series was originally only going to be 2 posts, but then this one got too long and I hadn't even gotten to the main point that I wanted to discuss lol.) But for this one, I want to point out a thing that I don't think that anyone's really discussed before even though indications of it do pretty clearly exist within canon... The Society of the Blind Eye seems to exist in opposition to Bill Cipher himself. And the symbol of the Society of the Blind Eye is a very good example of this relationship!
Tumblr media
Is this observation too obvious? Or do I just sound entirely insane right now? Because I swear that I'm right! But I've never seen anyone discuss it before! I just think that if you think about the Society with the idea that they exist to oppose Bill Cipher in mind, it explains a number of things about how and why they operate as well as their aesthetics. But let's discuss the symbol itself first!
So first of all, I think that it's really neat how the Society- from its very first hints of existing to the series finale- it associates itself with graffiti.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This exists in contrast to Bill who- while his iconography also tends to be found in the backgrounds and little details of shots- tends to be found in more structural ways.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Windows and carpets. On dollar bills and commercial products from makeup to DVDs to children's costume props all alike. These differences in how they appear speaks to how the Blind Eye exists in opposition to Bill Cipher. Bill Cipher is larger than any individual on Earth. His existence transcends space and time. He has existed since before humanity and he has had his hand in countless human social movements. From the Egyptian pyramids to the foundation of America, even having a hand in early computer technology. Bill Cipher is more than just a character. He exists within the very structures of human civilization within the show.
Meanwhile the Society by contrast has only existed for ~30ish years by the series' start. And the most significant way that it exists is in opposition to Bill Cipher. In a way, Bill Cipher's existence is cultural... Meanwhile the Blind Eye's existence is countercultural.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't think that the modern iteration of the Society ever realized it, but its primary form of iconography- the crossed out eye- is actually simultaneously just a GREAT aesthetic symbol (easy to recognize and duplicate but also looking fantastic to boot) but that it's also rather clever in how pragmatic it is for the Society's unmentioned but inherent secondary purpose. That secondary purpose being to oppose Bill Cipher and to wipe his influence from Gravity Falls.
We all know how Bill is able to look through symbols of himself depicted in the real world. He also seems to be able to look through images of eyes in general (given how he also tends to watch the world through the eye-like patterns on Birch trees). We also know why and how Fiddleford came to found the Society, that he was distressed by the supernatural things he saw- what was beyond the portal especially- and so sought to erase the memories of those distressing things from his mind... Only to realize that others could "benefit" from this as well. The memory gun at the center of this cult would eventually become the very same object that would kill Bill Cipher in the series finale. It was only because of the Society of the Blind Eye that Bill was ultimately able to be defeated! But it's not that much of a stretch to think that Fiddleford may have been using the Society of the Blind Eye to protect Stanford from Bill Cipher from the organization's outset, right? Not only do they use and were the protectors of the weapon that would eventually kill Bill Cipher, but we learn in the Book of Bill that Fiddleford's repeated use of the Memory Gun actually entirely inoculated him from Bill's manipulations! Fiddleford's mind was so damaged, that merely existing within it was physically able to harm Bill! The Blind Eye could easily drive Bill from the mind of anyone he possessed so long as they knew it was him. And given how Bill treats the bodies of anyone he possesses, certainly that would fall under the scope of the kinds of experiences the Blind Eye seeks to allow people to forget. Additionally, the mere symbol of the Society- if applied to already existing images of eyes and of Bill Cipher himself- would keep Bill from being able to look through those symbols, thus limiting his vision! Perhaps this is why in many depictions of the Blind Eye symbol, the X over the eye is emphasized and shown in a different color than the rest of the symbol and the eye itself.
Whether the Society knows it or not, their existence and activity in Gravity Falls puts limits on Bill's power and influence there. (If anyone in town can just kinda randomly get their memory wiped at a moment's notice, it makes it much much more dangerous for Bill to possess ANYONE in town.) And given who founded the Society and when and why he did, I have doubts that fact is a mere coincidence!

For the character breakdown: Fingon or Fingolfin!
Ahh hi, thank you! Going to go with Fingon <3
How I feel about this character
That's my specialest little guy!! If hard-pressed it's always impossible for me to pick one favourite Silm character as it tends to be a toss-up between Fingon, Finrod, Maedhros, and Sauron but... Gun to my head, it'd be Fingon. He's so brave and brash, determined and courageous, hopeful and stubborn and full of light and idiocy. He tries so hard and loves so much, and in turn no one ever quite puts him first, not really. He makes so many genuinely not-thought-through choices, and yet he keeps getting up and he keeps his back straight and he owns up to it. Fingon is such a symbol of bruised-knuckled hope even in the face of impossible odds, of keeping on even if it looks dark, and I just. love him so much it kind of makes me want to cry.
All the people I ship romantically with this character
I have multishipper syndrome so it's quite a few, but I'm most compelled by any constellation of Fingon/Finrod/Maedhros; whether it's Russingon, all three of them, or Fingon/Finrod in a desperate, not exactly warm (ha)/affectionate kind of iteration on the ice, with Alqualondë and all their choices between them, it's just SO compelling to me. That said, I also do love him with Maglor, or with Maedhros and Maglor both. I've been rotating Fingon/Hurin quite a bit, and have read quite a few really good Fingon/Fingolfin, Fingon/Fëanor, and Fingon/Other Assorted Fëanorians fics! I can be convinced into anything really, although if we're talking "OTPs" it's really on the three eldest, with occasionally Maglor thrown into the mix for variety <3
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I love the Nolofinwean family dynamics in all directions, really. They are all so different while also all so stubborn, and there is so much that isn't said, or only hinted at. Fingolfin leaving for Beleriand at Fingon's urging; Aredhel and Turgon leaving for Gondolin without either Fingon or Fingolfin seemingly knowing. So much of it can only be guessed at, and I love to read/write endless interpretations of it.
I also think a lot about Fingon's relationship to the Valar. He prays to Manwë and is heard; his father's body is saved, but not his life, and he is brought to Turgon, not Fingon. Fingon dies, and no one comes to help. A lot of divine intervention in Tolkien is random and that's the point of the whole Eucatastrophe, I know. I still think that from Fingon's perspective, that must be something to grapple with. Clearly he has faith, but he is also keenest of his family to leave. He still puts faith in Manwë, but he also is, beside the Fëanorians, one of those who falls the furthest. It's less a platonic OTP I suppose, but it's something I turn in my head a lot to get to the heart of him.
My unpopular opinion about this character
I'm not sure how unpopular, but I don't see him as this calm, even-tempered, well-adjusted guy. He might look less unhinged next to Maedhros, but this is someone who plunged into the fray at the invention of murder and killed other elves who were only armed with slender bows. This is someone of those moved strongest by Fëanor's words, even if he didn't like him personally. This is someone who was friends with Maedhros, and walked into Angband alone, who crossed the ice and fought Glaurung, who fought two Balrogs on his own. I think he's brash, and stubborn, and loud, and especially pre-Darkening just as spoilt of a Prince/Eldest as Maedhros would have been. He learns, and he grows, and he becomes someone, but he is also, to me, someone who thrived in Beleriand because it let him be wilder and more unconstrained than he could be in Valinor.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I just wish we'd have gotten more of him in any and all senses. It's not that he doesn't have a solid bit of action, there's just always need for more Fingon, to me. Less generally, I wish we'd seen a little bit more of his brief reign as King of the Noldor, really.
Give me a character and I'll break their ass down

Weird self indulgent bullcrap but hear me out okay-
Seraphim Buggy.
The strawhats get to Egghead and there's so much going on, it's wild and crazy and things start calming down after a bit, but then one group manages to find a tube in the far back. Luffy is staring HARD at the little body, battered and bloodied, white hair floating like a curtain in the solution, but the round red nose is a huge give away. He recognizes that nose. He recognizes that face.
"Is that... Buggy?" Nami is confused, hesitant. Zoro frowns at the tube, at the injuries on the child's body, bruises and scrapes and filth.
Luffy is silent before he hauls back and punches the tube with a Haki coated fist. The others yelp, scold him, Chopper shrieks bc they don't know if that will hurt the kid, but-
It doesn't even crack.
They stare.
Franky and Chopper dive to the control panel to try releasing the child, while Luffy is still staring at the unconscious body. Usopp is equally quiet, both assessing and reaching out. They know Buggy in varying amounts, but absolutely nothing about this kid feels Right. There's a wickedly sharp undercurrent, even unconscious, that makes even Luffy wary.
They get him out, he's still unconscious, but he's safe. Chopper begins working on patching his wounds up, and midway through the kid's presence locks down to near nothing before white-gold eyes snap open. Luffy meets the gaze easily, inclines his head slightly, seeing the minute tension the ripples across the tiny clown's frame. S-Buggy blinks for a moment, then reaches out.
Luffy let's him touch the hat.
The kid is silent for a moment before he croaks a soft "bro...ther..."
They take him with them. Over the course of it all, they find out why the kid was locked away in stasis, learn just what they released from the tube, but the little seraphim is so taken with Luffy and is so happy to just cling and be clung to that they have issues believing that THIS is the demon the others were mentioning, the monster that had been locked away for everyone's safety. It doesn't help that this is BUGGY and any iteration of the clown being powerful just seems ridiculous.
Then something happens. And little S-Buggy causes a near apocalyptic level of damage.
None of the crew is killed in the rampage, none so much as injured by the little jester boy, but it begins painting things in a new light.
By the end of it all, as they're leaving, Luffy tells the crew to contact the Cross Guild. "A pirate ship isn't safe for kids," he says with finality. They nod. He keeps S-Bug distracted, they actually make efforts to AVOID fighting, miserable though it leaves some, and they soon meet up with the Guild.
"Uncle," Luffy calls out, shocking everyone in earshot, especially when Buggy greets him back.
Luffy knows a lot more about Buggy and Shanks' childhoods than most do, pieced together from times when he was small and begging Shanks to bring him with the crew, when he and Buggy had time spent together, especially on the way to Marineford. So when he saw this like Seraphim, felt the Haki, saw the damage, he knew this was out of his wheelhouse. He was going to be King of the Pirates, not because he idolized Gol D. Roger, but because he was going to be better than him.
By Davy Jones as his witness, he would be better.
Buggy is mildly annoyed, confused, exasperated, but then Luffy meets his eyes dead on, steady, and says "He hasn't learned control yet."
And suddenly, Buggy understands. He winces. Hisses through his teeth. "Fuck."
"Yeah."
"No Red, then?"
"No. But he saw my hat, called me brother."
"Fucking hell."
"A ship is no place for a kid," Luffy says, voice surprisingly mature to most who know him. "But an island..."
"Yeah," Buggy sighs, rubbing a hand over his face. "Shit. Yeah, an island is safer. Has he imprinted?"
"I dunno, but he's pretty docile if there's no perceived threat."
Buggy groans, but opens his arms to take the child, giving the kid warning of touch, an open offer. The little seraphim hesitates for a moment before diving towards the older pirate.
Crocodile, Mihawk, and the strawhats all watch on in varying stages of confusion while the two captains talk.
There are many questions to be asked, curiosities to be quenched, but for now? Karai Bari offers docking overnight, and a new resident is welcomed to the island.
Right now I can only think about,, How cute a seraphim Buggy would be,, And also, Buggy and Luffy's relationship here?? My beloveds 😭 Everyone is so confused and doesn't understand why they know so much about each other and get along so well because Luffy is the master of never talking about his past unless he's asked,, Really happy this little Buggy can be with Buggy, though, always saying Cross Guild as dads with the Seraphims is an amazing concept.
